M Pushpa Perkash
Pathways Section Coordinator

Pushpa began her teaching journey in 2007 as a Geography teacher in Singapore and the UAE, working with diverse learners in multicultural secondary school settings. In 2022, she made a purposeful shift into special education — a transition that has been both meaningful and deeply fulfilling.
As part of her work in the Pathways program at Mitchelton Special School, Pushpa plans and supports the dynamic, hands-on learning experiences that often take place beyond the classroom walls — whether in the community, off-site at work experience, on-site in school, or through everyday tasks. She ensures strong connections between these practical experiences and the QCIA program, helping students build skills and confidence for life beyond school.
